Ryan Andrew Balas - co-producer
Ryan Andrew Balas is a NYC based filmmaker and actor. He began his directing career with the multimedia stage play "Goodnight, Goodbye, I love you". Ryan is an alumni of The American Musical and DramaticAcademy, and spent a year at both the NYC and LA campus. While in Los Angeles, Ryan acted in film and stage projects before deciding to move back to NYC to revive his creative energy. Back in NYC, Ryan, along with Deirdre Herlihy and Christi Chiello, created the mockumentary-style webseries "The Really Cool Show" The Really Cool Show webisode 7 "How E-popular is TOO E-popular" was selected to screen at The Sunnyside Film Festival, and the show currently has over 4 million views and climbing. In the spring of 2008, Ryan wrapped post production on his improvised feature film "Sandcastles" and is currently submitting the project to film festivals. He began to develop the idea for "Carter" in 2006, while writing a stage play based on the same concept titled "A Life in Rewind". In the fall of 2008, he shot "Carter" in three days. The film is in post-production. Ryan is now shooting season three of The Really Cool Show and as well as developing a new web series. J. Lynn Menzel - art director
J. Lynn Menzel, a true artist, expresses the unique combination of free-hand and graphic illustrations. As a midwest native, J. Lynn first displayed her talent in fine arts at an elementary age. With practice, she became an established graphite portrait and realistic artist by age 17. After moving to California, she decided to further her artistic experience; as a result in 2005 she graduated with honors from PlattCollege with an Associate's Degree in Graphic Design. J. Lynn's first circulated artwork publication came in 2006 with a CD cover for West Coast rappers Mitchy Slick and Messy Marv's collaborated album, "Messy Slick". While living in Florida, J. Lynn decided to quit her formal job lifestyle in 2007 to fully pursue her dream with a career in art. Currently, J. Lynn is involved in multiple projects with One Way or Another Productions including art and set design for Cookies & Cream. Cassandra Riddick - camera operator / associate producer
Prior to working as an independent promoter, business and tour manager for a major hip hop recording artist, Cassandra Riddick spent four years in the television field as a studio technician and master control operator at the C-Span cable network. In 2006, she was a Top Ten Finalist, for the RAP-IT-UP BET/Kaiser Permanente AIDS short film screenwriting competition. Ms. Riddick holds a B.A. from BowieStateUniversity and is currently pursuing her Masters degree in Psychology at WaldenUniversity. Monica C. Trombley - production manager
Monica has been the project manager for One Way or Another Productions, and now has taken over the company's legal and administrative duties. A native of NC, she graduated from Oglethrope University in 2003 with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. She attended Quinnipiac University School of Law in Hamden, CT, receiving her J.D. in 2006 and earning admission to the NY and CT bars in 2007. Monica began working for the company as the assistant to producer Princeton Holt and is currently a freelancing entertainment attorney.
